Miller's Elite Home Contractors
Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and how to tell us to stop.
Draft. Not Yet In Effect.
Who This Covers
This policy covers Miller's Elite Home Contractors, trading as Miller's Elite Home Contractors, and this website. It explains what happens to information you give us here and what happens to information collected automatically while you browse.
Write to info@millerselite.com, call (512) 222-9134, or post to 5900 Balcones Dr, STE 100, Austin, TX 78731.
What You Give Us
The consultation form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the kind of project you are considering, your rough timeline, and whatever you choose to tell us about the work. You control all of it. Nothing on the form is collected without you typing it.
We use it to answer you, to schedule a walkthrough, to prepare a rendering and a quote, and to keep a record of the conversation so you are not starting over every time you call.
What Is Collected Automatically
Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, the type of device and browser you are using, which pages you looked at, and the site you arrived from. This is ordinary web server and analytics data, and it is not used to identify you by name.
Cookies And Advertising Tools
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. The ones this site cannot work without, such as remembering your cookie choice, are always on. Anything beyond that is optional and off until you agree to it.
If you agree, we may use analytics to understand which pages people find useful, and advertising tools from Meta and Google that let us show our work to people who have visited this site. Those tools set their own cookies and report back to those companies.
- You can decline the optional cookies when the banner appears and still use every part of this site.
- You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.
- Your browser settings can block cookies entirely, which we will respect.
Open Before Launch
Client has confirmed Meta and Google advertising tools will run once ad accounts are set up. That is a Phase 2 build item: the consent banner below and the actual pixel install are not live yet. This section is accurate for when they are, so the policy does not need a rewrite the day they go in.
Calls, Texts And Email
When you submit the consultation form you are asking us to get in touch, and we will, by phone, text or email, about the project you described.
Marketing messages are a separate thing and need a separate yes. The consultation form has a checkbox for that, it is not ticked for you, and leaving it alone does not affect your quote in any way. If you do tick it, you can stop the messages at any time: reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or just tell Brandon or Pamela. Message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell your phone number or your email address to anyone.
Who Else Sees It
We use outside companies to run the business: a website host, an email provider, and a customer records system that holds the enquiry and the job notes. They can only use your information to provide that service to us.
Beyond that, we share information only when the law requires it, or when it is necessary to complete work you have asked for, such as passing a measurement to a fabricator. We do not sell personal information, and we do not trade it.
Your Rights In Texas
Texas law gives residents the right to ask what personal information a business holds about them, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to get a copy of it, and to opt out of it being used for targeted advertising or sold.
To exercise any of those, write to info@millerselite.com, call (512) 222-9134, or post to 5900 Balcones Dr, STE 100, Austin, TX 78731. We will respond within the time the law allows, and we will not treat you differently for asking. If we turn a request down you can appeal, and we will tell you how.
If you are reading this from California, Virginia, Colorado or another state with its own privacy law, contact us the same way and we will handle your request under the law that applies to you.
How Long We Keep It
Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept while there is a reasonable chance you will come back to us, and then deleted. Records tied to a completed job are kept longer, because a warranty claim, a tax question or an insurance matter can surface years later. You can ask us to delete your information at any point and we will, unless we are required to keep a specific record.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and the form submission is encrypted in transit. The systems holding your information are access-controlled. No system is perfect and we will not pretend otherwise, but we do not keep payment card details on this website at all, which removes the thing most worth stealing.
Children
This site is meant for adults hiring a contractor. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than hoping you do not notice.
Questions about anything on this page can go straight to Brandon or Pamela. Get in touch.
